I dunno.  I googled  'it' and all I get is that it is the name of a horror movie.

We live in Arizona.  No one bothers to comment on the fact that has been over 100 when it is July and it has been for over a month now.  We are too hot.

We get excited when water falls from the sky.

We have job opportunities here in my town. It is a big 'sport fishing' area. Right now they are hiring hook baiters at a flat $20 per hour. Yeah, it's hard work, but if you stay at it for a year, they award you with the title of 'Master Baiter!'

  • I’m not sure what 100 is in real weather language,  but I’m pretty sure I would die.

  • Ahhhh, thank you :) that’s not as  hot as I thought then. 35-40 is normal for where I live in the summer time too. We don’t all live in igloos :)

I live in Minnesota. Weather is our favorite topic of conversation. Not only the current weather, but the record highs, lows and rainfalls of past years.  If someone says 'Hot enough for ya?', we are off and running with: You betcha, but remember 2 years ago when we had the week where it was over 90 and then the big storm came through and it dropped 30 degrees in 5 minutes? The proper response is to recall when on this date a decade ago it actually snowed a little bit (with no accumulation, of course). We can spend an afternoon like this and it never gets old.

  • I guess if I ever go to Minnesota, I’m going to need a spare suitcase full of pens. Red ones.

    All of them.

Because all of them, when taken to their core, are based upon the (wrong) assumption that the only good and beautiful weather is dry, sunny, cloudless and hot weather.
