    On my quest to find a mind blowing fact, I ran across this that little nibble:
    Humans share 50% of their DNA with bananas.
    I found it under PBH Network.  I don't know how reliable that is but it did fall in line with your fact. :) :)

    If it were possible to do so without being vaporized by the heat, you actually slow down as you fall down the hole because of decreasing gravity. You would be weightless at the center and would never make it to the other side.

    What I read said that at some point you would travel like 5000 miles per second.  You would have to burn.  Anyway, I had read about this about a week ago so I had a ready answer.  Science is not my thing but when I read that 42 minutes would make that trip I just didn't believe it.
