Perfection is impossible but if Democrat God suddenly raptured all of the hardcore liberals and Republican God suddenly raptured all of the hardcore conservatives then I think it would be a really good time for the the left behind people.
If they really had all the power that gods are alleged to have, the results would probably be the same - battles, routs, stalemates, one side wins then the other, policies see-sawing backwards and forwards, no consensus, no single evolution in a specific direction.
Oh - except as it is now, the constitution favours the chances of the conservatives having more time in power. If the gods were equal, the Dem side would have a bit more sway.
I have heard that Jesus is a liberal due to His giving spirit. However, He has such great connections, He doesn't need to tax anyone to death like the government.
