Thank you. I do not think I have ever seen any of those. They would be good for construction work.

There good for the beach too - once I stepped on a rusty spike that was in a piece of wood that I couldn't see because t under the sand. They make a lot of types of footwear with steel shanks and steel toes including running shoes. Cheers!
I'm not picky about shoes--I wear high-tops, low-top Vans, athletic shoes, and flip-flops/slides. I shop at places like Marshall's and Ross as well as Macy's and sometimes mall shoe stories like Journeys.
flat, comfortable, wide enough to allow lots of wriggle room for my toes, soft soles that have good grip and don't make a lot of noise on hard surfaces
style to suit the occasion or work colours harmonise with clothes
There's a natural footwear company that I like best - but they're handcrafted and imported from New Zealand, too expensive for my income. So I take great care to ensure they last as long as possible. Soon I'll be down to op. shops only.
My favorite footwear is skin. I love being barefoot. However, since that doesn't fly very well with the tenderfoot I've become, I go with stilettos at all fancy occasions. I don't shop for them. They jump out if they are on sale when I am passing by. I shop at REI for hiking boots which I wear most of the time while at work and in the mountains. Merrells are a brand I seem to lean toward. For day to day wear, sandals are my choice. The name doesn't matter. It depends on what sort of sandal I need for the occasion. I also wear canvas loafers, and easy, old-grannie tennis shoes with jeans. I sincerely do not have a special shoe store. I have a, "if they are on sale," all stores are applicable, approach. I take my feet for granted. I need to pay more attention to them. They take me everywhere I need to go. I would be very sad if I didn't have my feet.

I prefer tennis shoes. Nike are the most comfortable but I do not buy them right now. Next is Adidas, New Balance, Sketchers. Only one rule....they must be bright pink...with some black.
Weekend leisure in summer....Crocs or sandals.
I usually shop Shoe Carnival when the Buy on Get One 50% off is going. Also get points which save on purchases later.
