That I was lucky to live in a tropical paradise during my high school years. I didn't mention that I had the best circle of friends I've ever had there; plus a girlfriend. I was living in what is now a $3.6 M house and had my own 16-foot Boston Whaler, outboard motorboat and drove a brand new Mustang to school. It was one of the best times of my life. My grandmother, with whom I lived was wealthy.
Sounds pretty cool. Does your family still own the house? Then you really have something great. I grew up in a 5-story brownstone that my parents bought for $56,000 in 1963. Today it's worth almost $8 million, and thankfully, we still own it.

You remind me of the son of a wealthy local auto dealer. That kid always had a cool car, a hot girlfriend, and was county golf champion. Now he owns a half dozen new car dealerships of his own.
Never attended public high school. My parents sent me to all private schools. Actually did for a couple of months years and years ago where I was living with this guy.
