Not on a new car that's for sure. Only classic cars that came out with those white-walls as an original feature.

In 1987, I had a letter printed in ' Motorcycle Industry Magazine'. It included some changes that were coming to the motorcycle world. I suggested many ideas, including colored tires. They soon became available for off-road applications.
In some locations, the practice of offering automobile tires in various colors became a crime-related problem because gang members used them for marking their territory and/or for antagonizing rival gangs. The way it was done was through skid marks, some of which were so elaborate that they resembled graffiti that had been created by spray paint. A gang would use wheelies and other stunt-like driving maneuvers to slather streets showing who owned what, and then another gang would cover the first markings with their own in challenge to the original gang. Crossing over or crossing out another gang’s marlsmarks was grounds for war, which was often the result of such an action. Law enforcement agencies and public safety officials went to the tire manufacturers to request that the product line be scrapped, with obvious results (profits and bottom lines can’t be interferes with for a silly matter of curbing violence or maintaining peace).
[BONUS FEATURE: this post contains several puns that tie into or follow the subject matter. Who among you will be the first respondent to identify them all?]

Funny how there are more vehicle crashes and deaths in America on the road then there are in England. .. Now who drives on the wrong side of the road....:)D
I agree the type of proportionality is correct, but the multiplier might be a little higher. (Nothing against Australia or England---just an observation about idiots)
