I'd sell it to the highest bidder. starting at $200,000. This one is for sale...$254,000.

Did you just say 'most unique'? Don't make me come over there and do something you might enjoy.

Tutankhamun had a sword/knife made of iron.....it was made from a meteorite found in the dessert, iron was more valuable than gold as it was such a rare metal in Egypt...   Not a lot of people know that....:)

If it has any substantial value, I'd sell it for as high a price as possible in the hope of being able to afford to rebuild the house.

With what?  The house?  Or the meteorite?  I would call NASA and have someone pick it up.  I think there is a base around Anthem.  So, that is no problem.

I hope my house is insured.  I sure have paid up the wazoo this last year for insurance, so I will let the meteor fall where it may.

I did not know meteorites were worth anything.  I would have just put it on my coffee table as a conversation piece and show pictures of the damage it did to the house.

Maybe I could make my house a showpiece,  advertise and ask donations for people to view the damage done and see the meteorite that did it.
I'd like to keep the meteorite.  This post was edited by Kittigate at November 24, 2019 6:32 PM MST

If that happened, what makes you think there would be anything left of the house and anyone inside?
