He is Gordon Sondland on steroids. If Sondland can buy an Ambassadorship why can't Bloomers buy a whole Presidency.
After all, he is a billionaire. How dare we the people intervene? Here is an even STABLER GENIUS than Trump is.
He is throwing a worse monkey wrench in this mess than if he stayed out of it. But these rich losers think they know more than anyone. They mostly get their money by swindling and conning, so they think this is a natural progression. POLITICS. They are in that business anyway. They are paying the politicians off. Now Bloomie sees that Trump is making a killing and he wants in. The cost? Trump behind bars. A VERY TEMPTING exchange, but we can do so much better than trading a headache for an upset stomach.
I'm interested in Bloomberg. The idea of a man running for the Democrats who is rich enough to fund his own campaign is intriguing. It suggests that not all wealthy people lack a socially-progressive conscience. (I'd always suspected such people exist - just never actually heard of one.) I've just read the Michael Bloomberg entry on Wiki - very interesting reading.
It seems he might be exactly the right person for the Dems to have an excellent chance against Trump at the next elections.

It suggests that someone who has no reason to trust a billionaire is giving him credit that he does NOT deserve. This is a man with wealth who thinks he can bypass all rules (TRUMP AGAIN?) and just run without any BACKGROUND in any politics except for buying the votes of his brother billionaires who do NOT represent the average American. HE DOES NOT KNOW BETTER THAN WE DO ABOUT WHAT IS NEEDED FOR OUR PERSONAL BETTERMENT. Just because he managed to live a life of privledge. He knows NOTHING about America or what America wants or needs. He knows money and how to buy what he wants. NOT WHAT WE WANT.
Come on, Sharonna. I know your heart seeks for social justice for everyone. And I like that.
Let's take a step back for a moment.
Rich people are not brothers or sisters. They don't belong to a club. They are often very private people. And they are all different.
It's a popular trope to portray rich people as spoiled since birth by being able to buy whatever they want or as psychopaths who believe they are above the law. It makes for a popular theme because many of us struggle desperately trying to earn an honest living, or are in some way disabled and not able to earn any living. It feeds our envy to think ill of those who live in or with privilege. But it's simply not possible for all rich people to be the same. Let's forget about how they are portrayed on T.V.
Prejudice is the opposite of unconditional love. What did Sai Baba say about karma? Look at what he did with the wealth donated by devotees from around the world - paid for the building and running of 23 free hospitals and schools around India, and many more around the world.
I know you dislike Bloomberg's former stance on stop and frisk - fair enough. But he did eventually recant on that; he did realise eventually that that policy didn't work.
What evidence do you have that being a billionaire makes him automatically unworthy of trust?
I know very little about him right now so I'm going to do a little research on him. But one thing I bet he is doing is urking Trump and its going to be interesting and entertaining to see how Trump bad mouths him maybe he will clam that he has more money then Bloomberg. I figure if Bloomberg really realy wants to urk Trump he should make his tax's public then if Trump claims he has more money then Bloomberg - Bloomberg could say - well I guess we won't know until you release you tax's Cheers!
You start with the banning of soda. And go on to his newpaper publically stating the never investigate Bloomberg and now will not investigate Dems but will investigate Trump.....this means you are not a newspaper...you are an oppo-research firm.
I think you and I actually have bonded on hating the same political figure. How refreshing. But let's stick to the FACTS.
Bloomberg is actually on TRUMP's side. He is garnering all those billionaires to try and thwart the Dems. He can buy anything. And he needs TRUMP in that chair or else he needs to be seated on that throne himself. And he just might be able to make it. But any DEM that thinks this is a good man is drinking more kool-aide than the BASE.
There is something to be said for a small social site. We don't have major adverts taking over the system. That is what ruined the BAG. GREED and lazy. That's what did if for them.
LONG LIVE THAT SOCIALIST, JUST ASKING. Doesn't take money from big donors. LOL
