what does it mean when you have a sore arm for months at a time?

I dont think its heart related cause i wouldve had a heart attack by now, i do have arthritis in other areas, so it could be that, ive been mentioning it to my doctor and the last time i saw me he sent me down for xrays, yesterday they called me and said my doctor wanted to see me, they dont know why, he dont tell them, i dont think hes supposed to anyways, ive wondered if it was neurological cause theres times i forget stuff like people's names even thou ive known them for yrs, ive had people in my family with brain tumors and altzheimers, wondered if pain like that could be neurological, do you think my doctor wants to run more tests? and yes ive asked this question on healthtap.com too, just curious what others thought about it.

The causes are numerous, from muscular, to nerves, to neck problems, to arthritis, and more, so it's best to just wait and see what the doctor says about his findings, relax and enjoy the holidays.

I had a sore lower arm/elbow for over a year. I blamed it on excessive golf club swinging. Anyway, it went away and never came back. Probably was arthritis. That was 20 years ago.

Golfer's elbow affects the opposite side of the elbow, the medical name is medial epicondylitis.

Just go to the doctor and find out, Pearl.  Why would having a bunch of non-doctors guess your problem be helpful.  Or fun.  Or entertaining.
