Your question is based on the premise that I receive sexual offers.

    This is a faulty premise....

  • I would simply say, "Are you talking to ME?"   That would probably clear things right up.

If the answer is "Yes," what is your followup strategy?

    (asking for a friend....)

  • I would be laughing too hard to think of anything else.  (I'm an old lady ... LOL)

I suspect I would simply be too confused to respond (see my answer elsewhere)....

Hey, wait, there are some guys who are into old ladies! (And I’m not just referring to guys who are younger than the ladies.)

Come on, Mrs. C.  We're about the same age.  Don't tell me that you don't still get a wink or a whistle at a construction site.  :)

  • Where we live, homes are being built all around.  No, they don't wink or whistle at me .. or anyone else.  Not sure even younger women are thrilled with that kind of attention anymore.  :)

Have any women ever been thrilled with catcalls?

I honestly don’t mind them and don’t get the big fuss about it. As long as someone doesn’t invade my personal space or pose an immediate threat, they can catcall all they want. This post was edited by Lady Ondine at February 1, 2020 9:04 PM MST

  • Some get a kick out of it.  I know lots of women who find it kind of creepy.

They aren't, but you haven't lost it completely if you can still get a second look from a younger guy. :)  By the way, I don't think they do that as home builders - mostly urban hi-rise construction.

  • I usually just hand them the application form.

Is that downloadable from the Web, or do I have to get the form in person?...

If they are polite and just being cheeky ,I would just  roll with it.....if not I would not so gently let them no

I thought that being polite and being cheeky are exact opposites of each other.
