"Sleigh Ride" Leroy AndersonFrom what I've read, composer Leroy Anderson never intended this orchestral piece to be a holiday Christmas tune. He intended it as simply a "sleigh ride."His original composition did not contain words at all - - a purely instrumental piece. The words were added a lot later.I much prefer the piece in its original form, with no words. :)And it has become my Number One favorite Christmas holiday tune. :) less

To his credit, Frank adds a nice boring touch as contrast to everything else going on in the song.;);)
