What’s done is done. Take lessons from it, adjust behaviors accordingly and move forward with living my best life.

    If you say so, partner.

Life is either what you worked to make it, or what you didn’t.

That is called tragicomedy. Regret is hellish and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. If you're not in jail or feel like you should be in jail consider yourself lucky. What bothers me is people who throw themselves into instant elevation and bad mouth people. You don't know. Regret to me: disappointed over (something that has happened or been done, especially a loss or missed opportunity) This post was edited by CosmicWunderkind at April 29, 2020 6:44 AM MDT

So, you say but there is always some terrible attached? Well, remember this, every bad experience you have been through has made you the person you are now and how creative you are with what's left. Did I guess another mess? This post was edited by CosmicWunderkind at April 29, 2020 7:52 AM MDT

30 years ago I put  the ghosts of all the bad things I done in a paper bag then buried themy  in a long long grave. After that I was able to start a fresh life with nothing to haunt  me. Cheers!

By reminding myself that they enjoyed it even more than I did.

When I make a mistake, I do what it takes to repair the damage and make amends,
learn from it and avoid making the same mistake again.

For me, that's enough to be at peace with myself.

I have never done anything so awful that I was not able to admit my mistake and move on.  Guilt is a useless emotion.  You learn from what you think you did wrong and try to do better going forward.
