Do you love and rely upon internet automatic spellcheckers?

Mine seemingly turned itself off recently! You cannot believe the panic this caused me! I think we have all come to rely on it and have all become quite lazy.. I found it severely hampered my creativity and choice of words.. I found myself choosing simpler words if I wasn't sure how to spell a word, e.g. as I couldn't remember how to spell cantankerous I chose stubborn instead :(

I seldom use spellchecks, they tend to insert the wrong words.

You don’t need an online spellchecker, you need Randall D Spellchecker Plus. Get the spare bedroom ready and set yourself a sandwich-making schedule: I’m moving in!
(By the way, for my weekly back rubs, I prefer that you use Baby Oil over Baby Powder, Baby.)

Sounds like a good deal! You would have your work cut out trying to get me spelling correctly! You will need extra sandwiches for sure!

You must be naturally great at spelling. I envy you that trait. I am ok at spelling but years of internet highlighting mistakes has meant that I now am over-reliant and can't remember how to spell things!

I have never used it nor have I ever programmed a phone number into a phone.  I know every number that I call with any regularity and, yes, I'm an above average speller.  But my dictionary is sitting here on my desk.  I know all of my family's car tag numbers and I know my credit card number and driver license number by memory.  We all have memories.  I do not understand why people stopped using theirs in favor of electronic gadgets.  The dumbing down of the population has been by design and is ongoing.  Look at what is going on right now.  People think that by staying home and wearing masks when out is being safe.............it's being controlled.  I am not participating.
