Living room.  I took my ficus tree and 3 large pineapple plants outside today.  Now I can finally reach the living room window to open it.

I only have one window I open when I'm able to watch it.  None of the screens fit right in my house and they are easy to push out.  My pets would love to make a break for it if given the chance.  Plus, mosquitos and other pests can get through the openings.

    I have soooooo many questions!

Where do you think your pets would go if they broke out?
Why do you think they'd want to escape?
Which of them do you think would return home on their own, and which would you have to go search for?
If you had to search for any of them, do you know where you'd start?
Have any of them ever broken free before?
Can you help me save 15% on my car insurance?

They would go out where it is not safe.  I had a tick on my arm last week when I came in the house. Yikes.  My pets do not have fleas or ticks and I want to keep it that way.   We have many birds of prey out here and other varmints. I've had pets disappear in the past.  One cat especially stands out. :   I ...... She went out the window and never returned.  I thought I heard her crying but could not find her. They want to escape because they like it outside, but this is not a safe area for them. They would all return home if they could just like my cat.  If I had to search I wouldn't there are acres and acres of land here with trees and bushes and I would never have a chance to find them. Like I said someone, like a pet thief, may take them from me and who knows what would happen to them then.  Geiko car insurance is the cheapest for me.

Well, now I see why it’s best to leave those windows closed tightly.   Having lost one cat that way, your precautions are 100% sensible. It’s true that people steal pets all the time, too. I am not a pet owner, so I never run into those situations. I hope the pets you have now are always safe and will stay with you for a long time!

Car. If someone asks permission to smoke a cigarette in my car, I usually allow it - but the windows have to be open.

Kitchen window above the sink. It’s the only normal window in my house that just slides open. All the rest are the long tall windows I have to use the crank turning thing to open. I don’t have time to deal with all that.
