Nine murders in three weeks, two bodies of young men found dead in a creek after successfully evading police, four City Council members

New York City has had a rash of shootings/murders in the past month.  In fact, almost all crime is up, especially in the parks in all boroughs.  Now that "stop and frisk" is verboten and criminals are released without bail in the hopes they will show up for trial, it's getting to look more and more like the '70s and 80's.  

 

  When those who demand defunding of police departments have their way, the best part about it is that there are no negative outcomes that will arise from its implementation. Criminals and potential criminals do not follow the news, right?

Unfortunately, sh*t happens.

My county has had four murders since it was started in 1862.  I don't know if there were any before then.   There just aren't a lot of people to kill here.   The murders were one stabbing, one shooting, one case of child abuse and one vehicular homicide.  I don't think there was ever a local politician that got arrested.

So now even people like me are paying income taxes in Toledo because my employer has an office there. I haven't seen any decent street repairs yet. 

No, we are a Republican controlled town/county.
