Knowledge can be both wrangled into one’s mind through varying degrees of study and verified by weighing it against other sources of information, while belief does not always require tangible backing in order to exist.

That's my idea of a perfect definition.

    That's a knotty one.

I feel my emotions and thoughts as my reality,
but how could anyone else prove it?

(I'm not suggesting that there aren't ways...)

I like it that you include a priori and a posteriori definitions. I think it does need both.

Knowledge is "tested and tried beyond reasonable doubt".

Belief is "possible but vague due to lack of evidence".

Interesting, isn't it? that Plato could write that in in Greece 600BCE,
and Buddha at exactly the same time could observe the same in the forests of Northern India,
and yet so many people can't tell fact from fiction in the news,
and prefer faith in the news bias of their choice.
The facts are always out there, available and proven or provable, and yet so many don't seek out the evidence.
