Your last one was rejected by the DMV, sorry Randy.  The refund on your application fee was stolen by me out of your mailbox kept by the State of California.  If you want to GET LIVVI, you might have to start packing because you’ll have to move to Indiana, New York, North Carolina, Ontario, Prince Edward Island or West Virginia.  Those are the places that let you have eight letters on your license plates.

The DMV system is rigged! And how did Livvie get past the guards again and make it to the secure mail-handling facility? ¡No es bueno, no es bueno!  Grrrrrrr.

  • I haven't thought about getting custom license plates. Seven letters are allowed, so both my first name and my last name would perfectly fit.

I didn’t know Argentina let people have personalized license plates.  Do they let you use Ñ?  If so, don’t tell Randy unless you want a new next door neighbor.

  • I've never seen Ñ on an Argentine license plate, so I looked it up.  Ñ is omitted from the alphabetical sequence, and it's not an option on custom license plates.  Tildes are also not options on custom license plates.  I nominate you to console Randy about this.  I think that's fair since you're the person who asked about it.

We only get 7 letters to our plates, so that was the only one I could think of.:)

That might be a pretty popular choice.

I could get one, but Ohio charges $30 each year for the privilege.

I see a lot of cars with call signs on license plates where I live, so it must be pretty popular here.

That’s a good one.  You might just be able to sneak that one by your license plate issuing agency.

Is that a personalized plate or just a standard letter, three numbers, three letters sequence license plate that just happened to be Miss Gum?  lol, If I were next in line at the license plate office, I could’ve been M155 GUN.

In the old days people would snap any regular number plate that looked personal. Nowadays the licensing authorities and some private firms use it as a money spinner.
