What are some snacks that you haven't eaten since your childhood?

Hostess' line of snacks are snacks that I've not eaten since I was a kid.

    I used to love Twinkies and Devil Dogs, but they must have changed the recipe for the fillings and I haven't eaten them in years.

  • All of the above that you mentioned!  We didn't even eat much of them because my Mom didn't like us eating a lot of unhealthy between meal snacks.  
    I much preferred potato chips anyway.  :)

  • The Hostess line of snacks were occasional snacks (once a week or twice each month) that my parents bought for we kids.

    Yeah, and it's weird that I remember the act of posting at the time. And I thought Bag was not in my head. I really thought I was thinking mug.

    ("I really thought I was thinking"? That's a strange 'thought' to me. At least, I didn't say "I really thought to myself that I was thinking," ha!)

      Animal crackers and Cracker Jacks are the only ones I can think of among the myriad of snacks from childhood that I haven’t eaten as an adult.

    Imitation Vienna sausages dipped in mustard.   I don't know what in the world I was eating.  But they were about a nickle per can.  The non-imitation ones were more like a dime.   I never ate vienna sausages as an adult but hubs and children loved them.  I bought what I thought was the best option.......I couldn't find the word imitation on the can.....but still....

    I don't know why (because I still like them) but, lately, I haven't just stopped and eaten raisins like I often did when I was really young.

    I still do. I order currants in a 5-pound bag from Amazon and put them in apple sauce and yogurt.
