I know some former Christians who kept asking but never received, so they just gave up.  The explanation I heard from the staunch Christians that I know was that they were asking for something that wasn’t in God’s will.  I thought they had a good point, so I prayed a different prayer.  “Dear God, please do whatever you were already going to do anyway, amen”.  I’m not sure why they got so upset about that.  God actually answered that prayer.  It feels good when God answers prayers!

Was God's will drafted by reputable estate lawyers? Where was it probated?

Also, I just searched for God’s Will in probate court.  I didn’t get an exact match, but Bergen County Surrogate’s Court in New Jersey was at the top of the results, so that must have been where it was probated. This post was edited by Livvie at November 8, 2021 8:27 PM MST

    Or:

(I can be quite convincing. Many of them begin making sandwiches immediately after the deed.)

If you had one more of those, you would have a better tasting sandwich.

      I know some interesting means:

Doing a good deed for the person, the people, or the entity you will be asking for something.

For instance, I have quite recently been the beneficiary of such behavior, so I know it’s effective.

Hell, I'd just pay someone to bake me a damn rhubarb pie - - and NO STRAWBERRIES in it, damn it!

    My favorite, favorite, favorite pie.
Favorite. Yup, favorite pie. I love rhubarb pie. No pie is better than a rhubarb pie for me. Rhubarb pie, yes. A rhubarb-only pie.
