I planted way more cannabise plants than the legal limit of 4 plants. Cheers! This post was edited by Nanoose at August 1, 2022 2:09 PM MDT

It’s a compulsion. I tried to obey the judge, but the heart wants what the loins tell it to want.  (Isn’t that how the saying goes?)

I have never gotten a speeding ticket.  A couple of seat belt tickets, an expired license plate, and the first ticket I ever got was for a license plate light being out.  But most of those were after I was pulled over for speeding.

But after this reply, I realize failure to wear a seat belt is my last law broken and most commonly broken law. This post was edited by my2cents at August 1, 2022 1:55 PM MDT

Why would you not wear a seatbelt given the statistics for accidents? That's crazy IMO.

I am only in the car about 3min on way to work at low speeds.

On highway or long trips I do try to wear them.

I was just staring out the window for a long time and during a red light for a long time a car just blew through it  speeding. I could not believe it! This post was edited by CosmicWunderkind at August 1, 2022 1:38 PM MDT

This road here is under construction.  The construction zone ends about where this screenshot was taken.  The road is two lanes through the construction zone and the speed limit’s 25 through the orange cones.  The normal speed limit on this road is 30.  I think that’s kind of slow, but I obey the speed limit just because I don’t want a ticket.

The last time I was on this road someone was tailgating me all through the construction zone.  I was going the speed limit, even though I thought it was painfully slow. When the construction zone ended, he stepped on the gas, passed me and sped down the hill.

Schadenfreude is one of my character flaws.  He had out-of-state license plates, so he probably didn’t know that’s the police station and the sheriff’s department at the bottom of the hill on the left.  Why does it have to be so satisfying when red and blue flashing lights suddenly appear behind the driver who tailgated and then passed me?  I must be evil or something, lol.

That’s not evil at all. Well, I know I always jokingly call you Evvil Livvie, but that’s just the ongoing dialogue that exists between the two of us. There’s a special place in Hades for tailgaters.

I drove through this red light in the middle of the night.  The traffic light on Exit 83 from northbound US-65 near Des Moines, Iowa does not ever turn green in the middle of the night.  Someone who’s obsessive-compulsive about following the traffic regulations who gets to that light in the middle of the night would just sit there until morning. Either that, or they would just turn right, then turn left into the next parking lot to turn around, then make two more right turns to get around it.  That would be kind of a pain.

Why do they have a light that doesn’t turn green all night long? Grrrrrrr.

(You know me, I’m the idiot goody-two-shoes Boy Scout Dudley Dooright who would sit there burning gas and nervously looking left and right worried a state trooper would happen along just as I decide to go for it! Lol.)
