Was fox news right about Trump’s knowledge of history?

Trump resonantly said that he wished he had generals like Hitlers generals because they followed orders. One of the orders Hitlers generals followed was finding a faster and more efficient way to kill Jews. But Fox news came up with an excuses for what Trump said – Maybe Trump didn’t know Hitlers generals were Nazis. Cheers!

And there it is - the conspiracy theories.  Do you buy  a lot of tin foil?

Yet, he wasn't replaced by either Michelle Obama or Gavin Newsom.  In other news, the Earth isn't flat and the sun will rise in the east tomorrow morning.

Biden stuck them with Kamala.  He endorsed her and her being a black, Indian woman there was no way for the people in power at the Dem party to just skip over her. But they wanted to, they wanted an open convention to appear as though the delegates chose the candidate.  But Biden took it from them just like they took the nomination from him.
Then suddenly he is wearing a MAGA hat, he announces he delegated to Kamala everything over his term both domestic and foreign policy.  Then during a rally of hers, Biden decides to have press conference IN the WH press room. (He has not done that his entire term) so the media cut from her rally to cover Joe.

Joe and Jill Biden are voting for Trump, bigly.

But the power people in the Dem party wanted Newscum, but Joe took it from them.

Call it a conspiracy theory if you want but give it 6 months to a year and we will get confirmation.

Not that I believed what you wrote, but any chance that I might have found a grain of truth was gone when you said the Bidens were voting for Trump and stooped to the low level of calling Gavin Newsom, Newscum.

I have heard some rumors of a tension between Biden and Harris, but whether they have any substance is doubtful. But the idea that Biden would deliberately sabotage her campaign or vote for Trump is about as farfetched as it gets. I think Biden would rather go for a walk with Kristi Noem, than do anything to risk letting Trump get back in office.

How the story changes. Trump is seen in this video bragging about how he got Biden out and saying Harris will be easier to beat. No mention of the Democrats forcing Biden out or wondering who the new opponent would be. That didn't start until Trump saw what he was up against

I have not changed MY opinion.

The Dems got rid of Biden.
That is why they agreed to the early debate. To force him out.
They wanted Newsom or Michelle Obama.  Biden endorsed Kamala as his last stab back at those who forced him out.  Preventing their open convention.  And then he is running around with a Trump hat, not letting her distance herself from him. And  holding a press conference during her rally.  And Biden telling Obama that "she is not as strong as me." At Mrs Kennedy's funeral.
There was supposedly a physical altercation between Kamala people and Biden loyalists as well in the WH. (After the press conference)

So yes I believe Joe and Jill Biden are likely Trump voters. Or at the very least Jill Stien voters.

Quite a story. You just keep on believing it, it won't change anything. Biden puts country first, not everyone is like Trump.

Trump can't help it if he's a lousy businessman.  I'm curious to know how they came up with his net wealth when he hasn't provided his tax returns.

Tax returns do not have anything to do with your net worth.  That is a matter of asset values and debt.   Tax returns are only yearly income or loss.

TRUMP is the only one who lost money being President.

Trump would be wealthier if he hadn't wasted money trying to be a businessman. He even managed to bankrupt a casino, which takes a special kind of ineptitude - owning a casino is like having a rich uncle. If he lost money as President, that's a non-story, it's what he does. And stiffs the employees in the process.

All of his bankruptcies were casinos.  He is no longer in the casino business.

Trump's Plaza Hotel was more than $550 million in debt when it entered Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 1992.

HOW do you bankrupt a casino? It's practically a license to print money!

I would guess making rooms, buildings etc too nice. Perhaps too much labor etc.

I know I have been to casinos where there was maintenance that was starting to fall behind.

Nothing to brag about. He made over $500M during his term according to Forbre, but still lost money. Of course, being in the hospitality business during a mishandled pandemic is not helpful.

Trump's resort and hotel bankruptcies were prior to the pandemic:

    1991 - Trump Taj Mahal
    1992 - Trump Castle Hotel & Casino
    1992 - Trump Plaza Casino
    1992 - Trump Plaza Hotel
    2004 - Trump Hotels & Casinos Resorts
    2009 - Trump Entertainment Resorts

    https://www.thoughtco.com/donald-trump-business-bankruptcies-4152019

"Then there’s the list of “companies that had license agreements with President Trump [that] have failed”:

“Trump Shuttle Inc., launched by President Trump in 1989, defaulted on its loans in 1990 and ceased to exist by 1992. Trump University, founded by President Trump in 2005, ceased operations in 2011 amid lawsuits and investigations regarding the company’s business practices. Trump Vodka, a brand of vodka produced by Drinks Americas under license from the Trump Organization, was introduced in 2005 and discontinued in 2011.”

Also, “Trump Mortgage, LLC, a financial services company founded by President Trump in 2006, ceased operations in 2007. GoTrump.com, a travel site founded by President Trump in 2006, ceased operations in 2007. Trump Steaks, a brand of steak and other meats founded by President Trump in 2007, discontinued sales two months after its launch.”

So, is it any wonder why Trump was worth less?

Stopping a business or product is not a bankruptcy.

And all of the bankruptcies were Casinos.

And all of these were before Presidency so have nothing to do with Trump being the only President in our lifetimes to lose money while POTUS.  This post was edited by my2cents at October 27, 2024 9:26 AM MDT
