Are you the same "offline" as you are "online" ?

I've met people over the years that weren't even close to their online persona.

    I'm still getting used to it. It feels a bit impersonal...? Maybe more utilitarian than I would like. But it's okay. At least the alerts are fast.

  • Pretty much. The big difference is that I tend to avoid people off line. My idea of a crowd is Mrs Didge and Zoe (she's our dog). I'm socially inept.

  • Pretty much.   A tad more talkative online and more introverted in RL.  Though there is quite a bit I will not disclose over the internet.  Using real names and specific locations in public forums and profiles.   For the most part I'm the same crusty, perverted, depraved,  and thorn ridden teddy bear though.

    I am fairly quiet in real life. I would never debate politics with people I hardly know. (People/family certainly) 
    But my opinions etc are the same.
