The photo of the two guys on the beach was a lovely one. The gif wasn't suiting a main area. IMHO. :-

Having a hard time believing you not being a prude. No offence. :-)

Get it out of my face.  I find this kind of thing deplorable.   And not because  it is 2 women or 2 men or man and woman.  It is just put here to fly in the faces of what is acceptable.   It is the same stupidity as those naked t-shirt pics.

There is no reason for this.  I could see putting it on an answer if it answered a question or was a funny comment, then it is harmless.

But to just post it to see what you would do?  I would put it in the adult section where it belongs.  Do you know why?  Because if you don't, pretty soon this is ALL WE ARE GOING TO SEE ON THIS SITE.   Once this gets a foothold then the floodgates are opened for more and more of this crap.

It is like those Bible Thumpers.  You give them an inch, they  take over the whole place.   I am all for gay rights, but this is an insult to normal gay people who want to just live their lives and not flaunt their behaviors in front of the world every time there is an opportunity.

I don't want to see this  heterosexually, I certainly don't need to cater to people who enjoy getting their cookies off over something this inane.  If I were gay, I wouldn't want to advertise this way.

    Main area should be OK.
Only thing that bugs me is that it must be uncomfortable having her lover sitting on her pee bag.

Sexual poses...if that is not a sexual pose, then I don't know what else is.

Two persons in love is a sexual pose when fully clothed in the backseat of a car?

I could come up with a lot of other photos a that are artistic but would be sexual poses. This one isn't even close to a sexual posture. It's not like they are undressing each other or going to make out big time. Sorry, I can't see what you see. Must be in the eyes of the beholder.

Almost any modern tv show, not to speak about reality shows that all the teens are watching.

Looks artsy. Main area appropriate, imo.

I don't personally have a problem with it, but going by the Terms as I understand them, this would fall under the heading of "sexual poses". It's a scene of passion that's sexually suggestive, regardless of that the models are clothed, and it's in "classy" black and white.

If this is allowed in the main area, I think it has the potential to open up the door for any similar photos, and the limits of what is allowed in RegularMug will be expanded. Since you have a perfectly good, active and lively adult area, it makes much more sense to me to encourage posting of such material there, rather than adjust the parameters of the main site to suit the more adventurous and adult tastes of some members.

I was the one posting it originally. I see you're guessing on my behalf about the reason why it was posted. You got it all wrong. It was posted as a lovely B/W photo and a sentiment felt when I found it. One I wanted to share with friends. It wasn't posted to provoke or anything else. I leave the provocative behaviour for others, Sharonna.

To be perfectly clear, I don't care about what you or others will do, or how you will react on the photo. It didn't occur to me it being provocative, and I was surprised it was taken down. I had a following discussion with JA where I told her I accepted her moderating but was disagreeing with her. She now wants to see how others think about it.

Don't be afraid this place wil be filled with my photos. Unlike others I won't swam this site with dozens of pics each day, even if there were no limitation of five each day. I do occasionally post pics, that will be it.

All this just to give you the background and to correct your assumptions made on my behalf. Thank you for not always being so judgemental.

Just because it's in black and white, doesn't make it art. It's softcore porn before the clothes come off.

I agree. Crotches pressed together, straddling, it's overtly sexual, if one has had even the remotest experience with sex.

Exactly Sharonna. This will greatly relax the current limits on the main feed if it is allowed. Unfortunately, some fans of this material are only concerned with what they like to see. There is a perfectly good adult section, not to mention "free for all", where this would be welcomed with open arms. But no, people have to push to have it in the main site, because it tickles their fancy. It just makes no sense.

I agree Billy, if this is allowed, so should yours. Neither belong in the main area. When you're older, I'll be the first to welcome you to Adultmug. Now call your old uncle RPF a homobird and tell me to fly away, ya little rascal :)

Seems okay to me. There's no nudity, or grinding or anything like that. I'm sure you'd see much more on regular cable tv.

I've seen much worse on a different site. I can see the artistic part of this picture. I can also understand how some think it belongs in the adult section.

The only ones I would worry about posting this picture are certain ones who do it for the attention it brings to themselves, instead of using it as a piece of art.

I do still look at the B/W photo as a clean one too though. Guess it's in the eyes of the beholder. :-)

Exactly!  Especially that last part.  I sort of regretted my first response because there is nothing wrong with the photo itself and in the right context, it's perfectly acceptable.

I see other pictures and gifs posted here and elsewhere that just are screaming for the wrong attention and that is what I don't care to see.

Glad you helped me say what I wanted to say in the first place.

No it is not appropriate. I am shocked that you have to ask.
