Discussion»Questions»Human Behavior» Women take it just as hard when their men don't make them sandwiches as men take it when their women don't, right? ~
Nope. She does get upset if I don't make her a cup of tea, though. Husbands are supposed to make the tea and it says so in the Bible. Hebrews - not she brews.
Yes---and that sort of thing tends to be difficult to work into a conversation---it frequently requires great patience.
I once waited almost 14 months to use defenestration in a reply to Didge on another site. It was worth it.
An amusingly, the world of the day on Blurtit a few days ago was concatenation. Interestingly enough, combining "he" and "brew" is an example of that---although admittedly it's stretching things a bit since Hebrew has a different etymology.
LOL I hate making sandwiches.. but am too mean to buy them and no one else makes me sandwiches either... woe is me, whatever shall I do? Seriously, almost never had anyone else make me a sandwich.
I can't remember many times having someone else make me a sandwich... usually if eating sandwiches just grabbing and go. But I will pay for Subway... either Meatball or Sweet Onion Teriyaki Chicken.
I work in a college and they do make delicious, fresh sandwiches and my daughter is fond of what is called a 'meal deal' - but i am mostly too mean to pay to have a sandwich made..I do like subway though and had one recently :)
I married my wife when I was 37 and she was 30. At that age, I knew how to cook and clean. (I still do both, and of course, so does she.) But my rule is: You cannot have the last bite of my sandwich at the last moment, but I will make you one with as much care as I did mine if you want me to.
Aww she is one lucky lady lol :) I have guys ask me 'do you know how to cook?' sometimes if I'm flirting a bit , and/or they are looking for a date or just to chat.. I'm thinking, that is one of the top questions you ask? LOL. If a man cooks or not is the last thing in compatiblity to me; kindness, honesty, humor.. THAT is what I want to know about ... I felt like saying, 'It is not 1925 where I'd be home cooking every day for you!!' Lol. I think it is very kind of a man to offer a woman a sandwich or meal, as you demonstrated T- ty for sharing and giving us hope that women don't have to be 'the cook' :)
I don't recall anyone making a sandwich for me. I wouldn't want them to, so it's not a problem. I'm particular about sandwiches and I don't eat them too often. I eat more of them lately but use half a pita, flour tortilla or French bread now. That may why I seem to enjoy them these days. And if I'm making one for myself, I don't mind making one for you as well.
