I have!  Well, there is a native American burial ground not too far from my home. There have been regular excavations over the years. There is a soil erosion problem ongoing and one skeleton is nearly falling over the cliffside.

oh I had not considered that idea.

I'm thinking of taking a walk and looking down and seeing a finger or a foot laying on the ground.   How many people think to report it?

I'm surprised how many people agree with you.   I mean it is obvious if a part that has flesh on it will get noticed and reported.   But there are bones laying around that could also belong to someone who has not been found.

First i'd check to see if I am missing anything. If not then take it home to feed the cat.

I would call the Sheriff's office to report it.

  • Depends where they were found.  At the Mutter Museum I'd take them to the main desk and hope for a huge fiscal reward and a public ceremony.

Out in the wilds report them to the police.  This happens from time to time where I live.  Some are tragic murders others are unfortunate people who got lost in the desert.

    well,
I once had to find my own body parts.
    Does that count?
An accident cut off two fingers on my left hand.
When I called 911 for help
the first thing they asked me was where are
    the fingers?
    Said I didn't know.
    They said find them
    which i finally did
gruesome, when it is your own body parts. LOL

Aww that must have been a difficult (and painful) experience, trying to locate your own fingers :( Was it the entire finger or top? Were they able to reattach??

    Hi
it was two fingers at the base and part of the palm...
They reattached them, but after a week, infection set in
and they had to remove them. The thumb and two
fingers are doing just fine, they seemed to spread out
to make up for the missing ones.
amazing thing this body, it just adapts when necessary.
