I've asked myself that same question for 2 weeks now. However, my GPS insists that we're "here". It all started when I told my new GPS that I wanted to go 'there'.
It said, "Turn left in 100 feet". (I did that) ... "Go straight for 8 blocks". (I did that too) ... "You are 'here'".
"But I don't want to be 'here'", I protested, " I want to be 'there'. Tell me how to get 'there'!"
It said, "Turn right in 100 feet". (so I did) .... "Go straight for 8 blocks". (so I did) .... "You are 'here'".
"No, no, no! I don't want to be 'here', I want to be there!"
I've tried and tried to get 'there', but no matter what I do I always end up 'here' ("you are 'here'". ; "You are 'here'". ; "You are 'here'".). Maybe I've fallen into some terrifying quantum realm where "there" doesn't exist. Forever doomed to always be 'here'. Or maybe, just maybe, one can't get 'there' from 'here'.
