I once had a bf, who to me felt like my soul mate. We would laugh and joke and tease non-stop, we really played off each other and were just hilarious, people used to smile when we were together at our banter.. I like to think we spread a little happiness along the way that we shared with others. Such a shame it didn't last because it really was a blast and I think we were great together, not sure cute was the word but definitely made people smile. I could tell so many stories :P
Well the few relationships I've had that were allowed to come to define us as a couple were appropriate and I suppose to others we appeared to be a good match. Cute? I suppose so. I try to have fun whatever I'm doing and wherever I am.
I'm not sure "cute" applies to a couple in their sixties. But I overheard the mother of the bride at the last wedding we attended say of us to a friend, "They're pretty people." I felt good about that but it was a few years ago.

Once when we sitting in a park, a guy walked by and said to his friend, "Look! It's Ken and Barbie!"* Another time when we were in a parade, CNN took a bunch of close-up pictures of us. They used our live coverage to promote that parade in 2001.
I would have to say, we do exude a love for each other that others seem to see and feel. Being in the relationship, we really don't see it.
I do think Don is very handsome, inside and out.
*The original Ken and Barbie. I know they have taken on many different faces and I applaud that. And no, I don't wear the blue eye shadow Barbie wears.. ;) :)
Cute? Probably not. But many of our friends have told us that they wish what we have - together for 30 years, we're celebrating our 29th wedding anniversary this weekend.
