What happened when you encountered the worst pothole you've ever run over? ~

I fell in love.  I’m not sure if it was her gravelly voice or her bottomless eyes, but I fell instantly head over heels with that gorgeous gal.  She was a philosopher and the words she spoke were quite deep.  Although I couldn’t fathom half of what she said, I was mesmerized by her bumps and craters.    Sure things were rough at first, but we were determined to make it work.

Unfortunately, our dissimilarities were just too great and a gap formed between us.  as the gap widened, our relationship began to crumble.  She became more distant and I sank further and further into depression.  I should have seen the warning signs and got out, but I stayed; blind to the gravity of the situation.  Then one day she up and ran off with a truck driver.  I was crushed.  The hole she’d left in my heart was huge.  However, I eventually met someone new who helped fill in that hole.  Thankfully, that relationship has been a smooth one.
