Can’t even imagine one. Being that the earth is so miniscule in the scale of the universe, the universe wouldn’t notice whether the earth exists or not.

Help me out: How would the collapse of the universe be humorous?  This post was edited by Don Barzini at June 29, 2018 5:37 PM MDT

Space worms that eat holes in everything.  They finally munch their way through the outer universe membrane and the whole universe leaks out the holes and collapses.  But first the universe flys around like a balloon that has a hole in it. Hang on, It's going to be a bumpy ride.

A couple of teenage space aliens are cruising around in their spaceship  and spot Elon Musk's Tesla Roadster. The passenger punches the driver in the arm and say's - red Tesla roadster no returns no erase (like us humans do when we see a red VW). The punch in the arm causes the driver to loose control and T-Bone the Tesla which causes it to spin until it is at the perfect angle to go threw Earths atmosphere with out burring up  After that it slams into the giant partial accelerator which causes the Universe to collapse. Cheers and happy weekend!

    (threw through)
    (Comma before the word 'which'.)

      See?
(I've been trying to warn people for years, but they just have me committed to mentals wards and humor me. I have to go now; they serve lemon Jell-O on Saturday mornings, and they might run out of it.)

Randy D fails to correct grammatical errors. (I can only assume that's why he does it).

Someone has to save this planet for the sake of mankind! Gee, talk about ingratitude. Grrrrrrr.

(By the way, Babykins, that last period should be inside the parenthesis because it's part of the sentence.  I'll forgive you just this once, but even you have the potential for contributing to the world's collapse. Don't let it happen again.)

I was just checking to make sure the universe wasn't about to collapse. Thanks for the reassurance.

Please stop flirting with me, Jane S. It confuses me when you send a restraining order one day and come onto me the next day. Grrrrr.

I have insufficient education in the field of astro-physics to formulate a meaningful answer I'm afraid.
As for the humerous part, I can certainly imagine the peals of maniacal laughter echoing through hollow halls of nothingness that had lately been an unimaginably immense, evolving universe, crammed full of exciting potentials and possibilities - so thank you for that Element.

A shortage of coffee would do it!

Coffee makes the world go around. Love only keeps it populated.
