Your imagination is probably being picked up by your cousin. He is with you.
Hindus believe that a person's atman (spirit) is permanent and cannot change while the physical body is not permanent and can change. The atman is reborn many times, this is samsara (reincarnation). ... Death is a natural event so that the atman can move nearer the ultimate release from rebirth, moksha.
Not really so much at the present time but for a couple of years I had a friend hanging around with me who was from the year 1750 or thereabouts. He would come along with me whenever I was out and about so I could show him the wonders of all our modern stuff and try to explain how things worked. That was fun because I am a bit behind the times and most people probably know more than me about stuff.
"No" ... not any invisible friends just invisible ... well, let me tell you a story.
When a baby zebra is born it is invisible. If the Mother Zebra likes the baby she gives it its black & white stripes. If, for some reason she doesn't like the baby, she leaves it invisible.
So if you're ever walking along and bump into something that you didn't see ... it's probably just a zebra. :)
My life is such a disaster I don't even have invisible friends. All the visible ones refused to act friendly. I think I am the only person in the world with a litter of kittens that bite me if I get too close.
Not any one friend in particular, but being a person with an extremely vivid imagination, coupled with a high sex drive and topped off with an overactive libido, I certainly have my share of constantconstant and revolving supply of fantasy friends.

It's nice that you still feel that connection with him.. No, I don't have an invisible friend.. not even an invisible entity wants to be friends with me
