Do you ever wonder if you could have/can fall in the clutches of a serial killer?

If handsome-here Jeffrey Dahmer had started talking to me, I'd have been flattered as hell! Then who knows what may have happened?

Ya I used to live in the area of Willy Pictin's pig farm. He mostly killed woman but sometimes I thank my lucky stars that I didn't wind up as pig food. Cheers and happy weekend!

Thanks, Nanoose, you, too! I'm glad you're not pig food.

He might have invited you over for lunch.  He would've made you a Reuben Sandwich.  Either that or he would've wanted to enjoy watching a movie with you while eating some Ben & Jerry's.

Yeah, and I could've ended up in some future guy's meal, too.
    :)

    Handsome guy, though! My!

It's all sad to me actually.

  • You can't judge a book by any cover! Look at Ted Bundy and Rodney Alcala! This post was edited by Benedict Arnold at July 29, 2018 10:02 AM MDT

Cosmic~ I don't think you would.  I think you "feel" the people you surround yourself with and you know if something was askew.  You may give them a chance; but, hopefully you would follow your "Comsic" feeling.
If not, I would use my "Merlin Magic" and sway you away, quickly!!!
    Happy! Happy!

It's entirely possible that it's happened several times during my life, but with the first double negative, split infinitive, mispronounced word, etc., he/she would have raised my Spidey Sense, I would have figuratively recoiled and either the prospective perpetrator or I would have broken off the contact immediately. The necessary rapport that most serial killers rely on to cull their victims would not have materialized.

Dodged that bullet without even realizing it!

Every day at work. I run cell houses in a maximum security prison. I’m surrounded by scum. I have worked with serial killers.

You have no idea. I have seen things that cannot be unseen no matter how much I wish I could.

I've never met anyone who does that for a living or for entertainment.  That must be very stressful.  Man, what a hard job.  I'm sure I couldn't do it.  Good for you and thank you all at the same time.

I don’t have enough time to begin to describe what it’s like. Thank you for your appreciation. It’s a mentally tough job most people can’t do. I’m blessed with being good at it.

I never liked that sugar flavored cardboard the nation thinks is breakfast, so I was able to avoid that cereal killer.

Geez --  I probably would have fallen for Tony there, too --  what with those broad shoulders.

That serial killer won't be clutching anything on me. The poor pathetic thing will end up being the victim.

At any given time when I was dating, perhaps.  But, not recently.  I've been happily married for many years to the same guy for umpteen years.  He could become one but, I don't think it is in his cards this time around.  ;) :)

With so much happening, and in the kind of world we're living in, it is disturbing to have to face this possibility. I entrust my safety to God and his Son.
