No, my sense of humor is tempered with maturity.

I have a broad sense of humor, but mostly dark and twisted. A lot of people are too sensitive for my humor.

Not on here. It would have to be on the adult part. Even then I doubt I could get away with it.

No....I never make jokes or fall around.....I have better things to do than to try and trip people up ...I do actually have a very serious side to me ,but of yet I've still to find it....:(

Not yet but it has come pretty close to getting me in trouble - once I walled into a Biker bar and informed the patrons that somebody left the light on - on their Moped. Good thing I was with someone they knew and he let them know I was just stupid or something. Cheers!

That's funny. I can’t post most of my wisecracks on here.

  • It has been know to have.  I have to be very careful about what I say and how it comes off.

I have this uncanny feeling I might say something that will incriminate me.  I'm taking the fifth.

Merlin, I think it is "I PLEAD the fifth.".....However, I'm with you and I help you take the fifth and bring along another one to get you to help me polish off....

You are right! :)  That is how the original quote is worded.  On this occasion, I decided "taking" would more appropriate since I offered a wide variety of fifths to chose from.  Indeed,  it was meant in both the silent (original) quote and the spin of "the fifth" I put on it.
I'm up for a drink or two!  At my bar, however, I prefer if you don't PLEAD the fifth or PLEAD for a fifth, especially not the fifth, fifth.  I'll be happy to give you one and we can a lively conversation.  :) :)

Well Merlin, I think you said your bar is "Down on the Corner" and I thought you were referring to a Credence Clearwater Revival song.
Despite that, I went looking for your bar on the corner and there are bars on EVERY corner. I went in each bar and just yelled "MERLIN!!!!"
Amazing how many bars in your area have their own persona Wizard/Wizardess that resides in their bar!!!!
Needless to say, I had to get a fifth in each one, so I partied with ALL of those Wizards and Wizardesses....or are they Sorceresses? ;-)

Not too often. I've learned a very important lesson about knowing your audience. Almost anything can be funny and almost anything can be offensive... all depends on who's listening.

All the time, but it gets me out of trouble almost as often.

    Nup.

My parents strongly discouraged me from making jokes - I guess they couldn't stand the kind I tried to bring home from primary school -
"Why did the teddy bear say no to dessert?" - - - - - - "Because he was stuffed."

My humor lies in what makes me laugh - John Cleeze, Billy Connelly et al.
usually something dry, a twist in logic,
an unexpected idea coming one way and bumping into another coming from the opposite direction.

My sense of humor doesn't usually get me into trouble, however, most people don't get my humor unless they are paying attention. I'm not a stand-up comedy act, but my 'dry' sense of humor is often not understood.....
