"Sure." For example, I used to collect pictures of state line signs, city limit signs and post offices with the name of the city on the front of the building. They were for a motorcycle tour I used to take annually that required you to go to three states, five counties and one city for each letter in the slogan that they picked for that year. e.g. - "The quick brown fox jumped over the yellow dog."
It was a fun ride because you got to set your own route, pick your own cities and states, use your camera and you had from Jan. to Nov. to complete the tour.
