I’ve traveled to Pearl Jam that many times. I traveled to Kansas City, Kansas and Missouri, Oklahoma City, and Lincoln, Nebraska. I’ve seen them where I live too.
I like that - - liking a band so much to really travel to see them.
My favorite group is actually performing close to me -- Simple Minds. I really ought to go see them but part of me, for some reason, is avoiding committing to it.
Yeah, that's the group. They are, for me, one of those bands about which I can truly say I like everything I've heard. And lead singer Jim Kerr's voice really resonates with me. I never tire of listening to him.
Ya Killer was pretty cool but I think I liked Billion Dollar Baby a bit better. Back then Alice Copper said he was going to run for US President I laughed about it then now I`m wishing he runs in 2020. Cheers!
I really didn't start going to concerts on any kind of regular basis until the last year or so, so I've never seen anyone more than once. But, that is about to change because I plan to see Steven Page when he's here in a couple months. I saw him years ago when he was part of Barenaked Ladies. BNL is hands-down my favorite band of all time, but that's largely because Steven was behind their best hits. He always creates these happy pop songs that cover oddball, and sometimes upsetting things. Freakin' lyrical genius. I don't think he's ever written a bad song.
Ever since experiencing three days of profound deafness after a Pink Floyd concert, I've avoided live rock.
Thanks to my husband (who scouts talent for his annual festival), over the years I've listened to hundreds of musicians live, but rarely heard one group more than once. My favourites are classical and folk from all cultures, and world-fusion forms. After that, some blues and some kinds of jazz.

Icehouse three times. John Farnham twice (the first time was before my wife and I met. The second time I got front row seats for the two of us, my better half is a fan - I got her pregnant the night we went to that show together). The Wiggles twice - the first time was before they were famous, they were a slightly better than average Sydney pub band called The Cockroaches. The second time was after they'd reinvented themselves as a kids' band, I took my then four-year-old son to that one. Ian Moss once solo and once with Cold Chisel. Can't recall any others I've seen more than once. Singletons? His Name Is Legion:
The Hooters Dire Straits Pseudo Echo Mental As Anything Status Quo The Sweet The Doobie Bros The Chantoozies The Church Rose Tattoo The Angels Leo Sayer Uncanny X Men Mondo Rock Mötley Crüe KISS Swanee
Possibly a few others I've forgotten
