Do you ever wish you had the skill to survive in the wilderness?

Or maybe you already have those skills.

How interesting you should be on Life Below Zero.  Tell me more?  Where did you go?  How did you live?

:(.  We'd still invite you to come.  I'll take care of you.  I'll let you play the director. ;) :)

Yes I do. Especially if our economy crashes and the majority of us become dirt poor. It would be nice to know how to survive in the wild.

I spent a few nights camping in a tent. I was a Boy Scout.

I wouldn't leave you behind.  I'll take care of you, too!  Element can be the director and if you would like, you can choose the location and the cast and crew. :) :)

In the wild and in the urban jungle (homeless, getting mugged and the like). I have zero wilderness skills but I probably will do better in the jungles than confronting street thugs for instance, or workplace bullying.

It would depend on how long, where, and under what conditions.

In a foreign environment without the right equipment, I'd be lucky to last a week. This post was edited by inky at September 24, 2018 8:15 AM MDT

I'm smiling because for some reason, I think you would find a way to make it work.  You would use your best tool of all.  The head on your shoulders. :)
Even though it may be difficult, I have a feeling you may live merely for the good fortune to write about it on the other side of the experience. ;)

I do have the skills; however, It is not something I would like to do on my own.  I also would like to better my skills.  Ex:  If we were stuck on a mountain face, I don't know how to rock climb nor do I have the equipment.  I also don't know how to gut and preserve an animal.  Common sense would get me through but I have not been professionally shown, if there is such a thing.  I'm a quick learner. I do know how to fish and grow veggies!  Big smiles!

How to fish and common sense - Adding how to make a fire from scratch would get you through...

If you can fish and make fire, can't you smoke your fish to preserve it?
