    I love the opening of this first movement, "Departure" of George Crumb's 'Black Angels.' 

    The opening moments are called "Night of the Electric Insects."

    Don't quote me but I'm pretty sure the entire work is inspired by the Vietnam War.

    I always like the Kronos Quartet.

      Drat, I was going to say that I cannot comply with your request because I don't want to shock you, but someone else already used that verb, which prevents me from executing my plan, grrrrrrrr. This has me all wired up, I try to plug into my feelings, but it's as if some sort of blackout has overcome me, or as if I can't access the grid, or as if the power feed has diminished. In general, "electric" is a difficult thing to talk about, to just dream up something to say about.
