I clicked on the link and there was no info just adds. Anyway my thoughts are that over use of mobile phones can be un healthy. I only have a land locked phone and no wireless devices and I think I will keep it that way. Cheers and happy weekend! This post was edited by Nanoose at December 17, 2018 7:20 PM MST

The biggest danger from cellphones is falling into a pond.

I believe that continuous use of mobile phones can be detrimental to your health.  I use my phone only if I need to make a call and I keep the call short.  I have a landline at home and that's where I will spend more time on the phone.  There are accessories that you can plug into your mobile phone that are similar to a regular telephone receiver so you can keep the cell portion away from your head.  I bought one for about $20 but have not used it yet since I don't make long calls on my cell.

    Me too.

I didn't know about the dangers but guessed them based on what happened with the cancers from the early phones, back when they were the size of small bricks.

The woman in the video is a highly qualified specialist. The beginning is long and boring, but the cumulative information as the video continues is well worth watching - and passing the word around.

Sounds like you're already savvy about the physically probable risks.

    Do you have an iPhone?
    If so, try clicking on

    General
About - scroll all the way down to something called Legal
    Legal
RF exposure - see what it says.

For Muggers in Australia - Telstra has an automated message to use a hands-free device and keep the phone away from the body. It's one of the first companies in the world to do so, due to tough laws on liability.

I'm not sure if your reply above is to me, but if it is, no I don't have a iPhone.  I have an old (10+ years) and if it should die on me, I will replace it.

I just watched an entire video on it.  It is not to be taken lightly.  It is a real threat.

    Thank you.
If you feel it is an important issue, please pass the video reference on to others.
I know it's a bit boring at the beginning, but I find the evidence presented just as disturbing as the findings on tobacco smoke.

It's not only phones......any thing with an electric motor gives off RF waves ....Any electric drill ,saw any electrical tools .....any home appliance ....nothing is ever shielded ....it would cost to much money....
They have known about RF waves for donkeys years.....if you live close to overhead pylon surface high voltage power cables or live close to where high voltage ones  are buried...
Your  health and mental health is in danger.....Suicide and Cancers are much higher in those areas ....

I think, like cigarettes, we’ll find out over a couple of decades that continuous contact with these devices cause serious afflictions of one form or another. Many may die of abdominal cancers, and the like.

The ironies of human progress simultaneously benefitting and destroying us never end.

Your link goes to google mail. And that's the best part of your thesis. A cellphone puts out ten picowatts. You get more than that by petting a cat.

The International Agency For The Research on Cancer (IARC) and the World Health Organisation (WHO), class ALL Radio Frequency radiation as a 2B carcinogen, which means it can possibly increase your risk of cancer, exhaust fumes, DDT, and asbestos all fall into this category. This classification wasn't made lightly but off the back of thousands of studies, many linked to a specific type of brain tumour seen in "heavy mobile phone users," today most people would fall into that category including children.  Not only brain tumours were seen in studies but also tumours in the heart, liver and kidneys, other noticeable effects were lowered fertility, melatonin level, effects on DNA, and headaches.

Other RF devices in use are of course anything that is Wi-Fi including smart meters, mobile phones, microwaves, RIFD and also your digital television and radio, 5G will be a far more intense form of radiation since it needs more masts which give of larger and more intense bursts of RF radiation, unlike Russia the UK and USA guidelines allow the body tissues to heat up. Despite the fact that our environments are saturated with RF radiation there has never been any tests to measure the overall amount or effects on ourselves and our environment.

Despite the large sums of money raised for cancer research every year, cancer rates are not decreasing but increasing, in the UK it is now 1 in 2 people who will get cancer in their lifetime.  For Offgem to deregulate RF technology in the UK is the most irresponsible thing that has ever been done, although not surprisingly it is seen promoting much of the RF related technology, all investors stand to gain despite the risks.
Most devices on sale do come with a warning notice informing the person to keep the product away from the body, however smart meters are being forced into peoples homes and so withdrawing this choice. 244 scientists appealed to the UN to reduce RF radiation in our environment, stating that the guidelines are out of date,  unfortunately they have been ignored.

Thank you very much for your comprehensive reply.

I hope it encourages more people to take precautions against over-exposure to carcinogenic technology.

Sometimes I wonder if it's like cigarettes all over again - people ignoring the evidence because they're addicted to convenience or indulgences at the level of entertainment, only to regret it later.

That will probably be the case. It's interesting because with most RF technology that you buy it gives a warning notice, or advice and as such they can omit liability for RF radiation exposure.

Exactly. The tech-co's are savvy enough to give themselves a legal out, but not caring or responsible enough to fund controlled scientific studies prior to selling their products, and safety research.
We need an equivalent of the FDA for new technologies.

Awhile back our son had to convert a spare room into a new baby room and one of the things he did was get the main wifi box out of the baby room which I thought was wise. I still haven't sent my letter to Santa  but when I do I might  ask for a wireless radiation tester instead of a new chainsaw. Might be fun and interesting to measure for radiation here which will probably be 0 then go to our sons house and measure which will probably be a billion. They have a lot of wireless devices and I think their asking Santa for wireless controlled kitchen appliances. Cheers!

It's real and it has never been a secret.  People who continue to keep a source of radiation on them all the time will, I fear, live to regret it.
