Quite a few good ones from school ...one really great one form AB who turned out to be another Londoner fron London strangely we get on like two peas in a pod.... Have many friends that work for my dad...Many I work with when I bump into them.... :)
No. I have acquaintances, very few real friends. You really have to be willing to play someone's game or they have to be willing to play yours. My husband is my best friend, I have three, maybe four, female friends, and several acquaintances with whom I get together to do specific things.
im pretty much isolated but i dont mind... part of it i like it that way.
i used to have friends but they all move on with their life... one still lives in our building, but he just tell me 'hello' when we see each other.. nothing more.
This sounds like something I would concern myself with when I was 15 or so.
I don't count friends. I'm sure I know and like a lot of people and they know and like me. I'm sure that a lot of people don't care one way or another.
I have a wide range of acquaintances with whom I am on friendly terms - but I do not regard them as friends because we don't deeply know one another.
I'm fairly introverted - well - exactly half-way on the scale between introvert and ambivert.
It means I feel my energy depleted by too much time around people, especially when the conversation is nothing but small talk.
I need fairly large chunks of time alone to refresh my energy.
But I love long two-way-equal deep and meaningfuls, whether they are emotional and intimate, or intelligent and exploring ideas.
Apart from my husband, who is my best friend, I have three close friends for whom I make time. I love them.

If you go outside in this town you will be the only person outside. It is so dreary that I have taken to phoning my sister every day. The deal is if I don't call she will assume I am dead and come get the body.
My two best friends passed away. I have one very old friend left, 1 other person I have known for several years who is more of a prayer partner. Many others were just passing through I realize now. The Lord is doing a new thing in my life and I'm just watching what he is doing as far as other people go. I can't see the entire picture but I trust his judgment. Some people have left my life, others remain.
