-- Phil Collins grabbed me by the 'whatever' and said, "Listen to this." I haven't stopped listening to him sing this song since. I'm not a huge Collins fan -- ( I really respect his talent, always, though) -- but this song -- he gets right to the point, lyrically -- and the song grows musically and lyrically as the song goes on. His percussion, vocal performance -- just perfectly chilling to me in the best ways! :)
When I was a kid we sung a song about the teacher hitting us with a ruler and hiding behind the door with a loaded 44 - that was a pretty anger and hatful song. Cheers!
cArly simon -- could listen to her forever. Her "Coming Around Again" - - the entire album from start to finish -- I've yet to tire of listening to it.
I'm not sure I'd like to play this game. But I love the concept -- anger from fear. I'm in that state presently, over last weeks, more than I'd like. I'm OK, though. :)
Hey Welbz, I also think the idea was a good one--unfortunately, the execution of it drastically lacked maturity; but as a long-time fan of the Prince of Persia series I was willing to look past the obvious shortcomings.
There's some crazy multiple timelines in there, and the main character needs to kill an other 'self'--one more rash and not only outwardly aggressive--before he can try to rectify a past mistake. In the sequel, that rectification turns out only to have caused more trouble, and so on, until he at last acknowledges his errors, accepts the pain, and no longer seeks to literally undo the past.
I'm not in any way saying this for thinking it should help, since I know so little; it's just that I really do like those games! Be well, Welby!
