Remember Recess at school? What sort of kid were you out on the playground? Athlete, Bully, Social Butterfly, Loner, Perv, Imaginarian?

I usually played with the classroom pets or in the computer lab.

We didn't have recess. What we had was 1-1/2 hours to walk home, eat lunch, relax for a while then walk back to school. We were all in pretty good shape back then.

When I was in elementary school, the junior high was located on the same block so at recess and lunch I would go to the junior high schools music room and sit behind the drum set they had, since there was no "set" at the elementary school but the music teacher, yes back then the elementary school had an orchestra, taught at both schools..

I was a card shark - kids would play games for baseball and hockey cards. Cheers!

I was the scapegoat, which turned me into a loner and an imaginarian.

Imaginarian. Me and my nerdy friends would pretend we were fighting a war with another group of nerdy kids or we'd pretend we were exploring ancient ruins or something like that. lol. 

All of them at times - - except for the bully one.

And perv was probably a quiet constant in my mind, recess or not.

I was off in the corner of the playground being a social butterfly with the other uncool kids.  It was a Christian school so if you didn't suck up to the pastor's kids you were one of the uncool kids.   I thought the pastor's kid was just eye-rollworthy so I got to be one of the uncool kids.  The uncool kids were so much more fun.

I was a team player.

A loner of course.
