Last year the US came in at number 13. This year it is number 14. Why oh why oh why oh why oh why? Are YOU happier now than you were before? To what do you attribute that?
Gaming the system is despicable but do some dismiss suffering by the poor with a simple shrug of the shoulders; motivated by a got-mine-get-yours mentality.

I think as people we all seem to have that *need* in our psyche to feel we are basically good, kind, caring, worthwhile people..lol but it seems in some cases at least how one actually behaves is very different to how they believe they behave :P
