However, for the students at Columbine who were seniors when 9/11 happened were also the freshmen there when the shooting occurred. So for these teenagers in particular, I feel like it must have been a double dose of tragedy, as well as Deja Vu for them when the announcement of the planes hitting the World Trade Center came on September 11, 2001.
