"Sleigh Ride" Leroy AndersonFrom what I've read, composer Leroy Anderson never intended this orchestral piece to be a holiday Christmas tune. He intended it as simply a "sleigh ride."His original composition did not contain words at all - - a purely instrumental piece. The words were added a lot later.I much prefer the piece in its original form, with no words. :)And it has become my Number One favorite Christmas holiday tune. :) less
I do.And though I like Ocean, I've never liked this song because of how I hear it.Only one person in my life has agreed with me when I've mentioned it.:)

To his credit, Frank adds a nice boring touch as contrast to everything else going on in the song.;);)
I am.They're my favorite group. This is my favorite song from them."Belfast Child"Among so many things I admire about the group, lead singer Kerr's voice sends me.

The more I discover about this symphony, the more I'm thankful I've heard it.If you have an just under an hour, consider listening. My recommendation is to listen in its entirety.
Metallica generally don't do mellow, but my daughter wants this as her bridal waltz when the world goes back to normal and she and her fiance can finally get married - and it IS a waltz.
