I usually cook one full egg and one extra white.

I ate 6 fried eggs for breakfast a few times but for many years my daily habit was 3 eggs- sunnyside- with hash browns and bacon or sausage.

My cholesterol has tested high sometimes but not terribly bad. i've done sardine sandwiches as breakfast for a while sometimes so the omega stuff can clear my arteries.

Stu’s answer is probably a little too cryptic, especially for those who know nothing about the movie.

It refers to a scene in the 1960s Paul Newman movie “Cool Hand Luke”.  Set in a southern county lock-up that runs chain gangs, Luke, portrayed by Newman, one day tells the other prisoners that he can eat fifty eggs. Merely an idle boast during a moment of boredom, it mushrooms into a bet between those prisoners who believe he can do it and those who do not. They have the cook boil fifty eggs, the bets are placed, and the challenge is on.

No plot-spoilers from me, you’ll have to watch the movie to see what happens.

By the way, for those who have never seen it, and those who haven’t seen it in years, it is in my opinion one of the best movies ever filmed.

I'm sure I've seen this movie....back when made.  I don't remember the egg scene.  Now I'll have to watch it.  It was on Netflix; I'll check to see if it is still there.

Not on Netflix now.  I'll have to keep an eye out; it plays on stations like the classic movie station and Escape sometimes.

We watched the movie in one one my classes in high school.
During the "Failure to communicate..." speech all the students were reciting to word for word with the tv. The teacher was confused finally asked 'why everyone seemed to know this part?'  It is played in the beginning of Guns N Roses song "Civil War."

    It is a good movie.
