Yeah, that's one of the ones I can't stand. LOL!

Jaimie loves Rod Stewart, by the way.

    :)

I like this one, too. Significant memories attached to it!

    :) Ha!

"Infatuation " is pretty different to me than most of his other stuff.  :)

Will hope to come back and listen more another time.  Will be falling asleep soon . . . zzz

Lol, no I HATE the one I posted... put the video always makes me laugh, it feels like an SNL skit to me cos it’s so over the top. True story, I was given tickets to see him live maybe 10ish years ago. I had to go Cos free, it was a great time. It was the one and only concert I ever went to that women really threw underwear up on the stage. I thought that only happened in old movies lol. It Was a trip. Tbis is the one song I do like by him....

Yes, it's a very uplifting song, too.

I just don't like hearing his voice with it. Don't know why Stewart hits me that way. :)

I get it, it’s kind of the theme of my post with Elvis lol. Here’s the best version of that song IMO.

Very nice!! Yes!!  Sounds like a different song to me. (I admit  haven't listened very closely to Stewart's song.

I hear someone clinking around with beverage glasses, pouring drinks, like they're doing the dishes or something in the background? Or crickets? Footsteps? Basically in the first minute. :)

Probably heading to bed soon - - getting tired, long day. :)

I enjoyed the thread with everyone. :)

Did you ever get your own underwear back, Jaimie, or did you have to do the walk of shame going home wearing some old woman’s granny panties?

I wasn’t one of the crazy women  on the floor near stage of concert. I was one of the crazies way back. I kept my undies, thank you very much.

    I can't stand that one.

I'd post it, but I'm sure I already have. Handbags and Gladrags is perfection to me.

"Infatuation " seems to be a different-than-his-normal type of song.  :)
I'm just not a fan of his and I'm unsure why.
His voice and music do very little for me. :)

I don't think I know the Handbags, Gladrags and Badnags song.  ;)

I'll have to look it up sometime. :)

    Yeah, you're probably right. :)

I remember this video for some reason! Maybe you've posted it before and I saw it.

I love this video. Yeah, like I said in other places here, I don't know why Stewart hits me in a weird way. He's got a lot of talent for sure. :)

I guess I really don’t lol. I love a lot of  older music and older musicians, but I never got or saw the appeal of him.

I was never a fan...I'm a guy. But he did have a great voice.

I don’t really think his voice was that great, to me anyway.

Do you have one cover in mind you like, or you just dislike him so much it’s any? :)

I'm honestly just not an Elvis fan, I always thought the dude was really cheesy in those sparkly jumpsuits, maybe Elvis and Liberace had the same tailor. :)
