The fact that I've been thinking this long to answer either "yes" or "no," I probably spent more time being on board the board game.

I have been on the BC ferry  that runs between the main land and Nanaimo a few times. It is a pretty big ship but it always seems weird that it has a concrete haul. I have also got to tour a few Canadian Navy ships but they were tied to the dock. Cheers!

I was on the Intrepid before it was officially made a museum; I've been on a cruise ship; and when I was working at the office, many times I thought I was on the Ship of Fools.

( Seeing other answers -- "Yup, I'm overthinking again. My second answer is 'yes.' " )

Numerous ships, numerous times, and for varying amounts of time.

I don’t think so, unless all ferries are ships.

Ferries are ships but they are not real ships. Real ships are made of wood and have sails and employed sailors who knew how to make a proper rope splice.

Ok but sometimes there has been confusion what is a ship and what is a boat. To settle the difference a boat is usually a smaller watercraft that can be hauled up onto a ship. Ie a ship's workboat or rescue boat, etc.

I do have a basic understanding of the difference between a boat and a ship, but I don’t understand how a ferry is a ship. I always thought a ferry is a boat but there were a few answers her calling a ferry a ship so I don’t know what’s what.  I still think a ferry is a boat. At least the ones in my area are more a boat than a ship… I think lol.

I don't think those sailing craft care what anyone calls them.

A ship has a Poop deck and a boat does not have a poop deck. Cheers and happy weekend!

Only once. I sailed and slept on a three-masted schooner. It wasn't a long trip, but it was enjoyable. :)
