      About three or four weeks ago. My barber has been missing in action for over a month, so every time I went to the barber shop during that time, I was just told to try again in a few days. I prefer to only let my barber cut my hair, so I don’t mind waiting. Well, three or four weeks ago, I really needed the haircut, so I broke down and let one of the other barbers there take care of it for me. It wasn’t the same. I have passed by there a couple of times since and my barber has not yet returned.

    I've had 2 barbers retire, at different times.
    It takes me about a year to find a new one.

    Seems "old time" barbers are getting harder to find, though.

    A month and a half ago. The drawback to the good thing because beggars can't be choosers on a free haircut was the choice of either blade one or two and I ask for an eight and he said only one and two and so I ended up practically bald looking older than I ordinarily am:( This post was edited by CosmicWunderkind at October 17, 2021 8:31 AM MDT
