Yes.  My guess is that a full 95% of our elected officials are felons.

I was arrested for chaining myself to bulldozer, but released without charge. Since then, the odd traffic ticket. Misdemeanours, not felonies.
I know a few peeps who have been in the big house, and my daughter's fiance just missed being inside himself by a whisker - he's reformed now.

I have a close relative who committed a crime* and was arrested, charged, tried, convicted, sentenced to several years in prison, served 3/4 of that time and was released on parole.

*At least one crime on one occasion, but it’s possible that there were more instances than this one, and they never came to light.

Sounds like my 6 years deceased brother. First felony when he was 19 and still in the Corps. This post was edited by Element 99 at July 19, 2022 12:24 PM MDT

Now deceased as opposed to what other time? Was he not deceased before now?

He died six years ago from drugs, alcohol, and from living on the street.

    So "now deceased" is redundant.

Pretty much everybody in my birth family as well as most of their friends have committed a felony or two. My son's and I joke about being the black sheep of the family because we didn't committed any felony's. Cheers!

      (son’s sons)
      (felony’s felonies)

Plural nouns as opposed to singular possessive nouns.

      (didn’t commited)
