    Yawn.
He calling for the police to be allowed to do their jobs. For people committing crimes to be arrested and prosecuted.  Instead of released with no bond and/or not prosecuted because they only stole $950 dollars in merch.

Talk about selling souls to they devil.

They voted to stop enforcing laws to save money on mental health treatments,  drug abuse treatments,  and victims services.

And now in CA a 24* yr old can sleep with an 14* yr old be convicted and NOT be required to register as a sex offender.   Disgusting.
(Adjusted age for 14 yr old victim)

Those people's will needs overrode....for their own good.  No wonder they are losing people. This post was edited by my2cents at October 1, 2024 12:56 PM MDT

So, you're an expert on what's best for Californians.  How would you like it if Californians decided what's best for whatever state you live in?

CA is losing people.  So evidently their people are not liking it either.

If something is a Federal law, the penalty should be a felony.
And no my state or any state shouldn't get to make laws for another. But the federal laws should apply to all.

Has it occurred to you that people may be losing residents because of all the forest fires?

Maybe you should worry about your own state. It rank much higher than California.

Just stay out of St Louis and KC and we all good.

No poop patrols needed anywhere in my state. And we don't have tent cities either.

We also procecute our criminals, so of course our arrest and conviction rate will be higher.

That's what you got out of it? Read it again, slowly. The savings are spent on mental health, victim services etc. And no where does it say sex with a minor is legal.

If they are spending the savings on that then good on them.   But seeing the people living in the streets addicted to drugs with other issues...it does not appear to be the case.

I did not say made it legal.  In fact , I said after conviction (cannot be convicted of a legal act),  the abuser will NOT be required to register as a sex offender.

Ie. If the victim is at least 14 and the abuser is within 10yrs of age (up to 24yrs) the judge can order that the abuser does not have to register as a sex offender.

    SB 145 in CA.

The age difference for any law like this should be 5 yrs max and apply to 15 or 16 min age of victim. They are trying to protect the 18-19 dating a 15-16 but the 10yr time frame is too long. They are protecting pedos.

Who's stopping the police from doing their jobs?

Corrupt prosecutors who do not charge people who should be.   People who want to defund the police.  Mayors who do not allow their police to arrest people for rioting.   PA like Bragg who does not charge criminals who beat police on video.....
    And so much more.

Prosecutors come into play AFTER police make an arrest.  People who want to defund the police have nothing to do with whom police arrest.  Which mayors do not allow their police to arrest people for rioting?  When did Bragg fail to charge criminals who beat police?

You don't think how the people arrested are released the same day without bail or even charges effects how a policeman will perform his job. If they know the PA is not gonna charge, why bother with the arrest?

Really, which Mayors.....have you forgotten the "Summer of Love"?  You think Mayor Adams has his police officers backs?  The Mayor who used "bust those cracker's a$$ (white police) everyday"  that Mayor.
There are videos of police who are just standing their taking abuse (yelling/spitting/water thrown on them because they are told to stand down.

You seem to forget that your idol is also out on bail.

The "Summer of Love" was in 1967.

If you're referring to the riots in 2020 following the death of George Floyd, Mayor Adams was not the mayor of NYC in 2020.  He was not elected until 2021.

Maybe you want to do some research and get you facts straight.

I am referring to the Floyd riots.  And DeBasio was no supporter of the police on NYC.    I did not say Adams (who was just indicted in NY) was mayor then.  I said he is not a supporter of the NY police and when you combine that with Bragg not even charging criminals, you get crime increasing.  Which is what Trump is trying to address.  (Yes, he paid a person to shut up about an affair....he is not the first and will not be the last politician to do that)  Congress has an slush fund just for that.  How many women did Clinton etc pay?  Trump will not be sentenced, it will be thrown out.

If you were referring to the Floyd riots, why did you bring up the Summer of Love?  You talked about Floyd riots and then referred to Adams.  Why don't you try getting your thought into some organized.  You're getting as difficult to understand as another member on here.  Better yet, don't bother.  There's no point in discussing anything with you unless you are willing to accept facts - not just YOUR OPINION.

Yikes to the Yawn. Trump is not just calling for the police to do their job – he is calling for them to over step their authority and be violent. Cheers!

And, when that happens, he will claim he did not incite the violence - same as he did regarding January 6th.

I bet he will bring race into it next and maybe even "suggest” that if the cops can’t do their job maybe the citizens should do it for them. Cheers!
