When is the last time you took a train trip? (Subways don't count.)

My last one was from Naples, Italy to Rome in 1986.

My last train trip was about three or four years ago. My wife and I went to San Juan Capistrano (California) by train in the morning to spend the day there and returned on the evening train.

I've never ridden on a real train.  The closest I've come is BART, but that's probably considered a subway.

This January I rode the commuter train from West Palm Beach to Fort Lauderdale to catch a plane.  Before that in 2016 I took the high speed train from Paris to London.  You may find that a little more interesting.

I took my (very young) son on a tourist train for a quick trip in Ohio Amish country. It was a genuine steam locomotive. That was 25 years ago.

We've ridden that train too!  Not at the same time but it was tons of fun.  When the robbers come on the train?!  Remember that part?  What a great memory! :) :)

I've fell over a few times as they pulled away and I wasn't seated....many people said I shouldn't stand for the trip and report it and I think they are right.....there should be seats on trains for every one eye fink.....:(

It's not the train operator's fault that you're top-heavy.  Complain to Mother Nature, not to the conductor.  Lawsuit dismissed as frivolous, this is my final ruling!  Bailiff, next case, please.

Signed, His Honorable Justice Randolph D IV.
